I am finding it difficult to articulate this next milestone in my creative experience. This occurred about 3 years after the first experience. During that time I will still in denial of the purpose of that 30 day experience. Yet any time we had an assignment where we would choose the subject manner, I would select something that was art/creativity themed. I did a critique of a painting called “The Reading Lesson”- a piece of art where Mary the Virgin Mother is reading in a garden about what turns out to be her destiny. I did a persuasive speech based on a book called “How to Think like Da Vinci” by Michae J.Gelb –yes lots of pebbles on the road that I would look back to.
A chance meeting in 2006 of Holy Yoga’s founder Brooke Boon in a coffee shop, put a business card in my hand and planted another seed. I held onto the card and did not look at it again until 2007…
A series of events puts me in the Holy Yoga 200 hour teaching training retreat and the most profound experience I have had to date with the LIVING and WORKING IN THE WORLD TODAY GOD. A series of disappointments had occurred in my marriage which left me in a tailspin of how to get through and bear it and sustain the relationship. One day on the mat, after about an hour of practice, I lay in a resting pose where I heard as clear as day in my being…I SEE YOU….
The tears came, followed by the relief of being FULLY KNOWN in a way I know no human being can. It moved me and it moved me FORWARD….
